Tom LaPille is a well known member of Wizards of the Coast R&D, with a large presence on Twitter (over 3,000 followers) and a weekly column on a website that reaches thousands of people. He has lead developed several Magic sets, and worked on over ten in total. As a well known figure on the level of someone like Mark Rosewater or Aaron Forsythe (both of which have Wikipedia pages), I contend that his figure - and thus his Wikipedia page - has plenty of importance.
