Article name
[edit]I think this article needs to be renamed. Since Quad Cities is already used by the better known group in Iowa and Illinois, perhaps Quad Cities (Minnesota) would work. I'm not aware of any other cities in Minnesota that use the term. thoughts?--Appraiser 13:52, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
- I agree. The term is of local currency, but is not well-known outside the area. But more important, it is confusing to have identical terms differentiated only by capitalization. Move to Quad Cities (Minnesota); add a dab link on Quad Cities; and change The quad cities to a redirect to Quad Cities. Kablammo 15:05, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
- I agree with the both of you. It's a better fit with the title Quad Cities (Minnesota). Cheers! RyguyMN (talk) 01:12, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
AfD?
[edit]Wow, I can't believe this article exists. No sources, except for one essentially self-referencing website. Does anyone outside of these hamlets actually use this term? HuskyHuskie (talk) 21:52, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
More references?
[edit]Maybe you can add this website that also explains the quad cities and area info and references. http://www.virginia-mn.com/ Coyote587 (talk) 04:52, 6 October 2011 (UTC)
