[edit]{db-reason} I do not beleive this is patent nonsense it is understandable and does make sense; this is a group which has been going a long time, and though this may be a hyperbolic, it still hold good grounds to make a claim of recognition. If users complain, i can not argue with it but i do not beleive that the Editors should not scrap this aticle as it still holds conducive rationale. {hangon}

The result of the move request was: pages moved per discussion. The international organization seems to be the primary topic here. I think I've got all the cleanup done around the move, but I may have missed something. Just correcting some links now... - GTBacchus(talk) 21:34, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
The Elders → The Elders (band) — The Elders organisation has greater prominence, is now not known as 'Global Elders'. 212.188.160.162 (talk) 15:24, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
- Global Elders → The Elders
- Support A quick look at Google search results for The Elders excluding Wikipedia shows they overwhelmingly refer to Nelson Mandela's organisation. There are a couple of hits for the band, but even they are lost among other uses such as the elders of various religious groups. the Mandela group are no longer knowns as Global Elders. - Support/Oppose support renaming the band, oppose renaming the other article, replace the current location with a dab page. 76.66.193.119 (talk) 02:13, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
- Comment There may be a case that the Mandela bunch are not the primary topic, though I personally think a good case can be made that they are. However, Global Elders is no longer a suitable name for that article as they are no longer officially known as that, nor are they referred to that in recent reliable sources.
