Initial comments

[edit]
  • "It contains eight double rooms and a 2 acres (0.81 ha) garden" - 2 acre with no plural
  • A small expansion of the lead will see it meet WP:LEADLENGTH, though I personally think it should be fine as it is. To summarise the article better, I would recommend mentioning a sentence or two about it dating from the 17th century etc
  • "There is also a flat onsite for the manager of the premises" - link apartment (American readers will moan)
  • "The Crown was run as a roadside inn by the Seaward family" - this is the first time the reader sees "the Crown". At first I didn't know that this was the Whitebrook's former name, as it wasn't mentioned in the lead or explained here
  • "Tasting menu dishes include asparagus comes from the nearby Wye Valley" - how about Tasting menu dishes include asparagus which comes from the nearby Wye Valley or Tasting menu dishes include asparagus coming from the nearby Wye Valley
  • "The village of Whitebrook developed as a centre of water-powered industry" - link Whitebrook
  • "having originally thought to look for one in the Chiltern Hills where they could be added" - link Chiltern Hills

This is a solid article. Once the lead has been expanded slightly (a sentence or two should do it) and everything else has been clarified, then this should be good to go. It's pretty comprehensive considering the subject! JAGUAR  21:36, 3 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
