'Historical inaccuracies' section

[edit]

@Nyxaros, why have you added a list of historical inaccuracies to the article? I believe it's just copied over from The Crown, where I recently removed it for being unencyclopaedic; a paragraph or two on how the season's inaccuracies (or accuracies) were perceived would be fine, but we don't need to list examples. @Nyxaros, it is impossible to make progress on this issue while you continue to revert without engaging in discussion. Please respond here so we can resolve things. A.D.Hope (talk) 17:24, 30 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think it is unencyclopedic. I wrote that you should get other users' opinion, not (just) mine. ภץאคгöร 17:31, 30 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think the material is appropriate for Wikipedia, as if readers want to read about all the inaccuracies in a season they can do so in the sources we cite or in one of the many other articles which cover them. Covering them here is an excessive level of WP:DETAIL, and a summary of the response to the inaccuracies (with a single example if necessary) would serve readers better.
