Updated rating

[edit]

I added a lot of information about the history. I was bold and changed the rating to class B. I saw that Team CSC has a GA-status, and the quality of the articles is in the same order, so the B-status should not be too controversial I hope. --EdgeNavidad (talk) 16:19, 20 March 2008 (UTC) It's a clear B. When the rating was last done, it was 8kb long, now its something like 28kb long so that's how much information has been added. SeveroTC 22:19, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed move

[edit]

I suggest to move this article to Rabobank (cycling team), to get the name similar to the other ProTour teams that need disambiguation: Cofidis (cycling team), Française des Jeux (cycling team) and Caisse d'Epargne (cycling team). An alternative would be to move the other three, but I think they are fine, and this one is a bit strange. --EdgeNavidad (talk) 13:44, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

seems sound and consistent. Kevin McE (talk) 16:47, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

I should have checked here, but just posted on Kevins talk page asking for assistance. We have a problem in that on several rider pages, Mat Hayman for instance http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Mathew_Hayman he is now showing as having ridden for Blanco pro cycling. How can we fix this. Dimspace (talk) 23:54, 22 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is the appropriate name for the article, as the current name of the team, but some uses of the ct template that were not year-tagged will look odd. This is more about accurate use of the template than anything specific to Rablanco. Kevin McE (talk) 01:12, 23 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

yeh, sorry, put the question rather in the wrong place. But just seen the change on the mat hayman article, and now i see how to correct it. I had tried all sorts and thats the one thing that didnt occur to me. Cheers Dimspace (talk) 23:51, 23 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Is "Lease a Bike" a German company?

[edit]

In "following sponsorship by German company Lease a Bike" the "German" part might not be totally accurate.

"Lease a Bike" (compare https://www.lease-a-bike.de/en/about-us) is a brand of a "subsidiary of the Dutch company Pon Bike, a top five player in the global bicycle market". So is it a "Germany company"?

Please also note that "Lease a Bike" is not a company, but a brand of above mentioned Dutch owned subsidiary "Bike Mobility Services GmbH (BMS)", that being a Germany company.

Perhaps a phrasing like "following sponsorship by German brand Lease a Bike" would be more accurate? 2A02:908:2810:8780:4DD0:C5A9:EC9:1D77 (talk) 20:10, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It's part of Pon Holdings, a Dutch company. Kevin McE (talk) 21:05, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
