April 2008

[edit]

Any indication of his nationality? Sherurcij (Speaker for the Dead) 23:46, 29 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wright lists him as a Yemeni (p. 310) Sherurcij (Because you can't fight terror by spreading fear) 00:31, 29 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As a courtesy to other to other contributors could we please discuss controversial edits on the talk page, not in the edit summaries?

[edit]

Another contributor removed an image from this article with the edit summary:

rm - the prisoner in the image is not Walid bin 'Attash the subject of this BLP - no good reason given for the inclusion of this 'propaganda' image

I just responded to a similarly poorly explained excision here, where I wrote: "I request[ed] them to be more specific. Our article on propaganda further breaks down propaganda into types of propaganda. If the image was really being used as "propaganda" it should have been a trivial matter for them to identify what kind of propaganda it was."

I request responses at Talk:Ravil_Mingazov rather than here, to keep related responses together. Geo Swan (talk) 14:44, 13 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

move

[edit]

I suggest to move to Walid Bin Attash. I do not see any reason for the ' in his name. Any objections. IQinn (talk) 03:23, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted COI template

[edit]

The COI template was placed in June 2012 without any information on the editor who had an apparent conflict of interest. There was no discussion on this talk page either. I've removed the COI template. Mnnlaxer (talk) 22:11, 5 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
