I've had it!

[edit]

I have visited this page several times in the last few weeks. I'm not really interested in BEP, but this intrigues me. Every time, Taboo's ancestry has changed. First he was indigenous American, then he was Tongan, and now he's Mexican. DOES ANYONE ACTUALLY KNOW?!hes actually Mexican i went to school with him at rosemead high..

  • In response to the above, according to http://www.black-eyed-peas.biz/ he is both of Native American and Mexican descent. I went to the same school as him in 7th grade, and he was culturally Mexican-American at the time, as to be expected since his stepfather was Mexican. As an adult, his Mexican background is less obvious than it was to me as a child, as his face has become paler and more sunken, and he has chosen to emphasize his Native American ancestry. Desired changes

[edit]

Done Just watched the Oprah show and his new baby is named Jaylin not Jimmy and appears to be a girl. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.219.53.44 (talk) 15:42, 10 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

removed source In the article it says he has a mile form of albinism. The reference #5 leads to a main page twitter account for the Black Eyed Peas. I don't think that is a good source. I am sure they tweet thousands of tweets during the week. The resource should be to an article or web page that can be accessed easily.Mylittlezach (talk) 01:33, 7 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Collaborations

[edit]

Please be sure to include his collaboration with Chingo Bling on a song called "Rodeo (Andele)." Not only was it produced by will.i.am, it is scheduled to appear on his debut album. However, the track doesn't seem finished. It currently appears on Chingo's mixtape "The Swagfather." Taboo has written a book

[edit]

 Undone, apologies
After hearing a radio interview with Taboo about his book, I added a "Bibliography" section to this article, giving the standard citation information (publisher, ISBN, etc.) and added two "writer" categories to the article's list of categories. My edits were undone, with the reason given as "per WP:N," but on the Notability page, there's a section titled "Notability guidelines do not limit content within an article" that appears to negate that as a reason to reject my edits. I've written to the editor who zapped the Bibliography, but if I don't hear back from him within 24 hours, I'll put back the Bibliography. --DTinAZ (talk) 17:12, 17 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for putting it back--apology accepted. --DTinAZ (talk) 18:42, 17 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
After you put it back, you changed the book citation in the new Bibliography, adding a reference. From what I've seen on other minor author's pages, this isn't necessary, nor the way it's done. Take a look at the Bibliography sections here, here, here, and here, and you'll see that they did it my way, without any refs. --DTinAZ (talk) 22:18, 21 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Discography

[edit]

I have known one song for two years already and just today I've seen the video and learned who performs it. It is Alex Gaudino featuring Taboo - I don't wanna dance. I recognised Taboo's face from the first second and then the proof in the title came. But here, in the main article, there isn't a word about this song. Add it, please, anybody, - I've no writing skills. GinaKisyaukova (talk) 10:51, 20 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
