No need to define NFL again in the early life section.
he made three sacks and a fumble recovery I am not sure "made" is the right word for sacks. Maybe "had"?
He became a defensive tackle at Tulane. maybe "converted to" or "transitioned to" instead of "became"
on c. July 18, 1986, to play defensive end recommend dropping the circa and just saying "in July 1986"
'B' team or not, it's got to help." the quote should go inside the period.
