Time in Canada

[edit]

Given the lifelong continuing residence in Canada of two of their four children and her own vast service to the country, did she make return visits after departing on the GG's death in 1940? And if so, could they be mentioned? For that matter, is it not possible to mention the four by name and birth-dates, specifying which two of them remained in Canada? Surely no violation of privacy given their birth considerably before 1935. Masalai (talk) 05:56, 24 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"[V]iceregal consort of Canada" was never used as such for spouses of governors general. Masalai (talk) 01:00, 20 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Do you mean it is an unofficial title? Because it has certainly been used. Robina Fox (talk) 17:04, 20 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I found a copyright-expired image of Susan Buchan here: https://www.wikitree.com/photo/jpg/Grosvenor-235 but I cannot work out how to add it to Wikimedia Commons so that it can be used in this article. If you can, please do! -- 04:31, 3 February 2017 (UTC)
