Source on death

[edit]

Is the current source on Sæterbakken's death reliable enough to be used here? I do not wish to delete it myself but having read about use of sources I fell the need to ask the question. This webcite has a very shor news section about the death of the author but the page may be soon deleted or made invisible. So the reliabilit may soon be difficult to check. --Teodor 10:24, 7 February 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Teodor605 (talkcontribs)

We could make sure it is preserved by using WebCite. __meco (talk) 11:00, 7 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
God idea but is the source itself reliable enough to be used? As you know, the Norwegian W has recently had a category delete discussion concerning this cause of death. I myself favour categorising. However there are no sources on his death cause locally as the Noregian press usually abstains from mentioning it. If it is considered good enough I would like to use it at no:W as well. See no reason to be more cautious there than here. --Teodor 11:10, 7 February 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Teodor605 (talkcontribs)
I'd say that's an acceptable source for this information. As for what the Norwegian Bokmål Wikipedia does and doesn't do, that really doesn't matter outside its kindergarten enclosure as that project regularly purges itself of its most earnest and adept contributors and therefore is finding itself trapped in solipsism. __meco (talk) 12:53, 7 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
That is a very odd remark to make here on this talk page. Curious as I was I had to see what you have posted there and I find to my surprise that you have been banned indefinetely. I was just asking if the source was reliable. Now I wonder if you are reliable. Teodor —Preceding undated comment added 13:46, 7 February 2012 (UTC).[reply]
I have removed the statement, as one of the two links in the reference was dead, and the other one didn't mention Sæterbakken at all. - Soulkeeper (talk) 15:20, 17 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
