Translation from French + Notability

[edit]

I've did may possible to translate as best as I can this article from the French. Unfortunately, the other page was out of date and has vandalism I presumed (or at least POV which I've didn't put here)

Meanwhile, this page is there because all Canadian Idol finalists have their own pages and Lapointe is a winner from 2004 and has success in Quebec which explains its notability. --JForget 20:42, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Song titles translation

[edit]

I added English translations for the song titles, as I did for Marie-Mai's page. 132.208.30.84 19:44, 29 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, it is always good to have sometimes the translations of the titles of songs for Quebec signers.--JForget 15:03, 28 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Stephlapointe lamer185.jpg

[edit]

Image:Stephlapointe lamer185.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Upcoming album

[edit]

I've read on a magazine called Le Privé, that a second album is on the planning, although the time of the recording and released dates being unknown for now. Anybody, anyone has details about that aside maybe from the two fan club sites, in which I haven't looked yet? I know that social issues and the environment may occupy a significant place in the album. --JForget 19:54, 26 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yep again in the 24 hours it says that (with translation) that Stéphanie Lapointe and Catherine Brunet are passing the same message for days. They are not on a tour for their new album (in the case of Lapointe)... --JForget 15:02, 28 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This article looks good for now, but some info is missing in some areas (such as the filmography and discography). Would deserve a B-rating for now I may trying to bring this as a good article and who knows maybe an FA in the long range--JForget 18:25, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm lowering the assessment to class=C. As the Lapointe article is primarily a musician biography, it falls short of B. Argolin (talk) 13:08, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
