Stasi spy
[edit]is this true?--84.172.90.6 11:43, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
- it's widely speculated. If you mean true, as in with a court order then the anwer is no. But then how many actual spies have you seen outed in court? It would defy the point of spying if it that was a usual bussiness. There's been a plethora of evidence in the greek press however, most notably, the thirty plus pages special booklet issued by eleftherotypia, with only a miniscule portion of the stazi archives making extensive reference to the person in question. That said, it's the basis of all western democracies that everyone is innocent until proven guilt, and we should always bear that in mind.

Allegations of spying
[edit]Please do not remove the BBC source from the article. According to WP:BLP, accusations that could be considered libellous against living persons are to be removed immediately, unless there can be a reliable source to back it up. Before my recent edit, the BBC citation had been removed (I had to go back to the history to find it) and the article had an unsourced claim about espionage charges. So it is essential that the BBC citation is not removed, or else the article becomes nothing more than slander.
Also, it is absurd of some users to remove the allegations alltogether. The incident was notable in this person's life, so it is important to have a mention in the article, given its due weight. In this case and considering the current length of the article, I believe one sentence with the appropriate citation is enough. --Michalis Famelis (talk) 12:41, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
No chairman of no romanian soccer club
[edit]Socratis Kokkalis isn't and has never been chairman of no romanian soccer club, neither Rapid Bucharest nor any other romanian soccer club. It must be some kind of mistake. Could be another club with the name of Rapid from another country (e.g. Rapid Vienna), but whatsoever, it is not Rapid Bucharest. User:Nikko bogdan
