Character pages

[edit]

Unless there's substantially more to note about the individual characters, I'd recommend redirecting each of their individual pages to this page. Cmprince (talk) 02:19, 23 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I disagree. It would be nice if these articles were expanded, but I'm sort of busy right now. I'll try and do it some other day. All right? ~Meldshal42 00:43, 1 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
As no expansion has happened, I will move forward with the redirects. Cmprince (talk) 01:39, 7 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

PROD

[edit]

@FuriouslySerene: your PROD reason claims "not a plausible redirect." Why is redirecting to Gordon Korman not a suitable solution here? ~Kvng (talk) 14:46, 25 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It's a very common name, and not a particularly well-known book of his. There are hundreds of books called "Island"/"The Island"/"Islands" etc. I don't think people would search "Island" and look for Korman, which might make this confusing for readers. Also, none of this would be copied to Korman's page, so it couldn't be a section redirect. And literally no other Wikipedia page links here. Don't see a reason to make this a redirect. Fair enough. Thanks for the details. ~Kvng (talk) 16:55, 25 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Hi FuriouslySerene, initially i thought that this series is notable but i have only been able to find a couple of reviews - [1], [2], so agree that this series doesn't warrant a standalone article. Coolabahapple (talk) 17:14, 25 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
A review in School Library Journal is a clear indication of notability and reason to deprod. ~Kvng (talk) 17:18, 25 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
