Team-B-Vital Improvement Drive

[edit]

Hello all!

This article has been chosen as this fortnight's effort for WP:Discord's #team-b-vital channel, a collaborative effort to bring Vital articles up to a B class if possible, similar to WP:Articles for Improvement. This effort will run for up to a fortnight, ending early if the article is felt to be at B-class or impossible to further improve. Articles are chosen by a quick vote among interested chatters, with the goal of working together on interesting Vital articles that need improving.

Thank you!

Bonet i Armengol

[edit]

The article contains the text "...was the son of Lluís Bonet, Jordi Bonet i Armengol. Armengol began introducing computers...". In English usage for Catalan surnames, Jordi's surname would normally be given as "Bonet", not "Armengol". See for example his Euroweek obituary. Unless there is evidence that he actually used the surname "Armengol" (I can't find any), I think the normal usage should be followed. In the context, however, "Bonet" would be confusing (does it refer to Lluis or Jordi?). Maybe just use "Jordi"? If not, "Bonet i Armengol". The point is very minor, but may be the reason why the link to Bonet i Armengol's wikipedia page is missing. Urilarim (talk) 21:10, 7 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
