O J Simposon
[edit]OJ Simpson was found guilty of murdering Mr Goldman by Mr Simpson in a trial. Why is this not mentioned in the death? Rustygecko (talk) 10:23, 10 November 2022 (UTC)
Typo?
[edit]I'm not a native English speaker, so I'm not sure if it's a typo or not... In the Death section, the text says:
"Goldman's family believe"
Isn't there an "s" missing?
"Goldman's family believes" Nakonana (talk) 16:17, 10 May 2023 (UTC)
- Hi Nakonana; i think that either can actually be correct, depending on the variety of English used and whether a family is regarded as a single unit (in which case the "s" is required) or a group of discrete people (in which case it isn't). One tends to the American, the other British usage, and i suspect that as Goldman is an American subject that's the variety we've gone with here. Happy days, ~ LindsayHello 18:58, 10 May 2023 (UTC)
- But the American usage would be "believes" (not "believe"). 2600:100A:B10A:81C6:0:51:5E98:A701 (talk) 07:11, 15 April 2024 (UTC)
Ron and Nicole's relationship
[edit]From what I have read, the Goldman family have always insisted that there was nothing going on between Ron and Nicole, and that Ron would have told them if he and Nicole were seeing each other. But some authors have suggested that something was going on. From some accounts, Nicole was preparing a sultry bath drawn the night it happened, and she knew that he was on his way over to drop off those keys. Some even comment on the dress Nicole was found in. Some even claim that lipstick was found on Ron's face after his death, though I have found rare claims of it. I think we should investigate this matter and find what sources mention of the claim of a lipstick mark or the lack thereof, because it might be one of the conflicting and unanswered questions what happened in the run up to the murders. Obviously, we’ll never know. 92.17.198.220 (talk) 20:49, 17 April 2024 (UTC)
- Stop reading conspiracy theory junk — they're worse than the tabloids.
- There were friends who said Nicole and Ron were flirting with each other, yes. But no one said they had done anything yet. As for the night of June 12, Ron already had plans to hang out with a couple of buddies, and Nicole was preparing for a relaxing bath to end her day.
- Some further clues as to what their plans were: Nicole's bed was found unmade — no lady would leave her bed like that if she was planning sex; Ron was still holding the car keys when he was attacked — if he was planning to stay at Nicole's, he'd have put his keys in his pocket.
- Something probably would have happened between those two if they had not gotten murdered, yes, but not that night. 71.120.28.112 (talk) 01:32, 26 July 2024 (UTC)
