Work for the RAA

[edit]

A user has twice removed any mention of Robert Jackson's current job as President for the Restaurant Action Alliance, an anti-styrofoam ban in NYC lobbyist. One can only assume the editor is biased, and trying to hide RJ's (very public) connection to the RAA. His current work for the RAA should be included on the page. These 2 links, which if you read them make quite clear the need for mention, were twice deleted by User:JesseRafe: [1] [2]

It is my intention to work with the user, if they would be so kind, to find language they deem appropriate, if they do not find the language I used appropriate, though if the dispute continues I would ask for assistance from a moderator on this issue, and will look up what the procedures are to handle this peacefully.Wikipediting (talk) 20:46, 3 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your phrasing is full of weasel words and hyperbole and intentionally bombastic. I suspect a conflict of interest on your part. Please read WP's policies on neutrality. If you consistently demonstrate that you cannot edit with a NPOV then that is why you have been warned. Reasons have been given in edit summaries and on your talk page before you deleted them. I take exception. My phrasing is not "full of weasel words and hyperbole" because it is always centered on fact/sourced articles. If it's original writing to a page on my part, then it must have come from sources other than me.Wikipediting (talk) 21:49, 30 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Current Employment

[edit]

I see another user has correctly removed the line about jackson being unemployed. I would like to fill this gap of information, by at least including a line stating who he works for, what he does, and what the organization does. This seems entirely appropriate, especially given that he opened a committee with NYS as a candidate for the senate seat as of today: http://blog.timesunion.com/capitol/archives/242526/ex-nyc-councilman-eyes-run-for-espaillat-seat/ Wikipediting (talk) 21:14, 30 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
