Rihanna/Rhianna
[edit]Rhianna is not Rihanna. They're not the same person, compare this:
So Rhianna and Rihanna are NOT the same person!
is it possible to add more biographical stuff to this article? Colorfulharp233 01:46, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
cut her teeth
[edit]Rhianna cut her teath working as a backing singer Jargon? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 2 of 8 (talk) 01:56, 8 December 2006 (UTC).
- Not jargon IMO; just an English idiom. To 'cut one's teeth on something' is to gain one's first experience by doing something. -- pne (talk) 12:14, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
Rhianna - self titled album in discography
[edit]Will someone provide some evidence of Rhianna's self titled album. I don't believe it was ever made or released 82.153.79.232 00:40, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
Where was she born?
[edit]On the right-hand side of the page, it says she was born in Leeds, but in the Biography section it says she was born on a small island in the Caribbean! Which is right? And if it's the latter, could we perhaps specify the island? There are quite a few of them...Tobycek 23:48, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
She was born in the freakin Bahamas! duh —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gjoseph12 (talk • contribs) 04:18, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
- this is a totally different Rhianna! The Rihanna you are looking for is here Rihanna. Check the top line of the article... Dreammaker182 15:33, 29 May 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dreammaker182 (talk • contribs)
More Info
[edit]WOW!! This article is a waste. There's no info on here about her. Why isn't it mentioned that she's Jay-Z's protege. If I'm correct isn't she from The Bermudas. Please fix this page.
You're thinking of Rihanna, not Rhianna. Nincompoop.Tobycek 23:15, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
This is not the same person at all.
She was born per Instyle magazine March 2008 issue p.142 Feb. 20,1988 and not 1987 like stated previousl. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.184.116.188 (talk) 10:58, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

Old an not updated fanpage as already included on this page: http://rhiannauk.tripod.com/index.html

delete!
[edit]When this article was created it was originally about Rihanna, the notable US singer! So much confusion as we can see on this talk page, this Rhianna was briefly active and has now demised to just a MySpace profile with 3 songs! Totally unencyclopaedic and non-notable. Delete. 79.72.181.68 (talk) 10:49, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
- The Rihanna you are looking for is here Rihanna The Barbadian Rihanna spells her name differeently; Rihanna, not Rhianna. Check the top line of the article... Dreammaker182 15:31, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
- A picture on the WP page would be good. Charles Edwin Shipp (talk) 04:53, 14 January 2012 (UTC)
No. She was quite famous at one time. Idiot. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.99.22.177 (talk) 14:43, 17 March 2012 (UTC)
With Chris Brown
[edit]Unfortunately someone is telling a lie since it's not this Rihanna who is dating Chris Brown it is barbadian singer Rihanna, because of this i will delete that sentence.ChillaxNOW (talk) 15:01, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
She is Barbadian!
[edit]I edited a lot she is barbarian, not english! its all over the internet - including her facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/rihanna. She is not from leeds, she just was working there according to the other cited article - maybe she was living there when she was cutting her first album. Deleted info
[edit]I have deleted all the info relating to the famous singer Barbadian singer Rihanna. This article is about the less famous (but similarly named) English singer Rhianna. Note the spelling. Rihanna (the Barbadian singer) has her own article under her own spelling, this article is spelt differently so obviously it can't be able the Barbadian. Any info about the Barbadian will simply be removed. Smoothy (talk) 10:27, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
Place of birth and references
[edit]It is still written in the side table that she was born in Barbados. This is obviously a confusion with the Barbadian singer Rihanna. Can someone fix this and put the correct place of birth? Isn't it Leeds? By the way, there is a footnote after her birthdate which references a Web page where her birthdate is never mentionned. The referenced article only provides a vague indication on her age (she was 19 in 2002).82.66.255.173 (talk) 16:28, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
Rhianna self titled 2nd album
[edit]As previously mentioned on this page, I too do not believe that this 2nd album exists or was ever released. It MAY have been proposed at some point but I can find no trace of it on the web AT ALL (and I've spent over an hour looking). No pictures or references to this album exist anywhere other than Wikipedia. Even the track titles are dead-ends. Unless anyone else can provide hard proof of it's existence I propose it be deleted from the discography section. Any comments?
- Delete it all. If it's an actual album, someone can add it back with a legit source. Smoothy (talk) 16:20, 24 March 2010 (UTC)
Now deleted. Also added additional references and singles. Davidkt 16:19, 25 March 2010 (UTC)
Chart position
[edit]How it's possible for her second single to have been in position 41 in the top 40 chart? Cannot understand. 85.217.50.138 (talk) 07:44, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
- Good point and well spotted! Now changed to UK Singles Chart. Davidkt 17:34, 30 October 2010 (UTC)
