Can someone tell me why this is being redirected to Rangareddi? This district was named after a person Ranga Reddy. So Reddy is correct. Dinesh Cyanam 02:58, 8 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ranga Reddy, Rangareddy, Rangareddi

I propose renaming this article to Ranga Reddy district and all associated categories, templates, article dabs etc similarly. All three names are used, but the first predominates. The Telugu and Urdu names seem to use two words, the person it was named after used the two words in English, Google hits for Ranga Reddy far outnumber the others, the district on its website similarly (at least on the heading) (Crusoe8181 (talk) 11:49, 13 May 2011 (UTC)).[reply]

I agree. Even the article itself uses the Ranga Reddy form in its body. I will do a page move & redirect now. - Sitush (talk) 13:41, 13 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
