The Qalamoun offensive (July 2017) is not yet over. After Tahrir Al-Sham, Hezbollah and the Lebanese army announced the following target of ISIS. When the evacuation of Tahrir Al-Sham is completed, a military operation against members of the ISIS will be launched. The name Qalamoun offensive (July - August 2017) can be changed.--Baba Mica (talk) 10:47, 1 August 2017 (UTC)
This article is muddled
[edit]This article is muddling up different events, locations, and operations. The Hezbollah operation against Nusra was in Arsal, and the two offensives now, one in Lebanon and one in Syria, are effectively separate. So either we split the article in two, or we make the infobox less simplified. The Lebanese state should have a separate column from that of Hezbollah/Syria. Nusra and ISIL can be in the same column, since they mostly worked together in Lebanon. Better yet, the Lebanese army operation should be its own article, since all sources treat it as its own thing. Lumping it with Hezbollah's operation is original research on behalf of whoever wrote the article this way. And now it doesn't even mention the losses on the Lebanese army side.
