Sources for current leadership list
[edit]Numerous sources give the current Politburo list with President Truong Tan Sang as No. 1, Secretary General Nguyen Phu Trong as No. 8. These sources include the government portal; VOV News; VolTimes; the party newspaper; and the official VNA/VNS news agency, including Vietnam+, VNA wire feed, Viet Nam News, and VNS wire feed. If you prefer Vietnamese, there is Bao Online, Bao Moi, and the Vietnamese version of VOV. You can also find it in dozens of local papers, including those for Yen Bai and Danang. As for the list on the party site that shows Trong first: If secretary general is considered the top position in the party, that would justify putting him first regardless of his Politburo position or authority. But there is no reason you would ever see Trong ranked as No. 8 unless that was his rank on the Politburo. Kauffner (talk) 06:28, 6 April 2012 (UTC)
