I attended this school (Plymouth North) when it was known as Plymouth-Carver High School from 1972-1976. I know that the school was built in 1963, replacing Plymouth High School when it was at the site of what's known now as Nathaniel Morton Elementary School, an intermediate school prior to 1977 when what's now known as Plymouth Community Intermediate School (formerly Plymouth-Carver Intermediate School -- same acronym!) opened. In fact, the site for PHS was the Plymouth Town Hall prior to moving across the street to Nathaniel Morton, though I don't know what year that was. I forget when the Plymouth-Carver School District was dissolved. It was sometime in the late 1980's. Whichever year that was was when both Carver High School and Plymouth South High School opened. Not knowing the year is what's hanging me up.

If separate articles cannnot be written for Plymouth North and Plymouth South, that's too bad. I wonder if that's consistent with the articles for school districts with multiple high schools elsewhere in Wikipedia. Ed 11:16, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It is certainly possible to write separate articles, but only if the schools have won awards, have notable alumni, score highly on tests, etc. As I said, I know nothing about this, but Ed, you may, so if it is possible, go right ahead and write the articles. I assumed the Technical School made Plymouth South notable, but apparently not. Anyway, if you can find information to "make" the schools notable, write the articles. That would definitely be great. But I whole-heartedly agree, it is too bad that the schools do not have separate articles. 01:48, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
