Thanks for this little nice article! I did a few changes myself (please check if correct), and have two additional suggestions (but nothing serious, so I will let the article pass).

One of the authors seems to have some additional fotos on flickr which we might use for Wikipedia [1] He also has photos of the Serranía del Perijá , which also would be nice.
I would suggest adding the following information to the lead: 1) Specimens have long been stored in museums, but the species was only described in 2015. 2) Information on conservation status. For most readers, this is more interesting than a detailed description of the color of the plumage.
