Dates

[edit]

I've struck a brick wall in finding anything about her dates of birth and death. I discovered the naming of the Coetmore Orchestra at Wesley College in her honour, which presumably occurred after she died; and a record of Walter Knott's grave at Bellbrae Cemetery, Torquay (he died 2003). But absolutely nothing about Peers Coetmore herself, when/where she was born and when/where she died. Can anyone help? JackofOz 02:51, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

She died in 1977 but I don't know the exact date. There was an obituary in the Australian Journal of Music Education and I am trying to obtain a copy or a reprint - that should contain much more information. She was born around 1906 but again I don't have exact dates. HotFXMan 11:31, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

One more thing I forgot earlier, she was actually married four times. Moeran was her second husband and M. Walter Knott was her fourth. At present, I have no information about the other two but am searching. HotFXMan 21:42, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for this, HotFXMan. JackofOz 00:05, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
