New Article, Has Issues

[edit]

The latest link I have provided (the first link in the reference section) takes you directly to the section of MSDN Magazine where there is a brief description of Paul DiLascia. This is probably the most reliable source available in the net till now. Wikipedia guys please consider the latest link and if needed get confirmation from Microsoft and MSDN about Paul DiLascia. I'm not into doing anything rash until proper time is given to make corrections. As of right now, this article has some issues that would mark it for deletion.

  • A personal website or blog can't be used as a reference to show notoriety. See Criteria for Speedy Deletion: A7
  • The second link given to MSDN Magazine doesn't actually say anything about Paul Dilascia that I can find.
  • The last reference given to Under the Hood, this particular article does not qualify as a Reliable Source according to Wikipedia.
  • The article has POV issues. In the last paragraph, the article says, "This profoundly inventive artist" for instance. While this might be true, it is an opinion and can only be used if it's quoted and linked through a reference to a reliable source. The entire last paragraph is an opinion and needs to be written in an unbiased way or quoted and cited.

These issues are serious and do qualify this article for speedy deletion. I would venture to guess that this article was written by a family member of the recently deceased, judging by the username. I'll do my best to work with them to make this article Wikipedia worthy, if possible. OlYellerTalktome 08:50, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
