I wouldn't say that Cottencin is an impressionist. He is also an Impressionist painter .. Impressionism has fairly clearly delineated temporal boundaries. Instead, one might mention that his paintings share some stylistic characteristics with those of the impressionists. I think the mention of impressionism came from [1], which says "Entre impressionnisme et expressionnisme, entre violence et douceur, entre occupation totale de l'espace et ouverture sur l'infini de la matière rêveuse, cette peinture enchante la force de ses couleurs, la puissance de son mouvement." It might be better to say that his work situates itself between impressionnism et expressionnism. Vexations (talk) 20:02, 26 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Both ought to be deleted as not notable. Cottencin is not a notable artist. Les Quattre Braves is a horrid piece of synthetic resin kitsch, painted with a blueish hue to make it look like bronze patina. I'm not willing to deal with the ARS though. The article can be expanded. [2] If anyone speaks French it'd be easier. Just need to search any notable museum or art gallery he has done work at, search their website for his name to confirm the information. DreamFocus05:12, 18 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
