What does this mean:
"Padma" is Sanskrit for "lotus flower", and "Amidala" is the spiritual manifestation.
Okay, so "padma" is Sanskrit for "lotus flower", but what is this bit about "Amidala" being "the spiritual manifestation"? Of what? - [[User:Cymydog Naakka|Cymydog Naakka]] 20:40, 24 May 2005 (UTC)

"In the Japanese dub of the Star Wars Prequels, she is voiced by Maaya Sakamoto." - Who cares? Surely not important enough to be in the first paragraph.

Check the discussion in Palpatine's page.

From the Return of the Jedi shooting script:

                             BEN (continuing his narrative)
When your father left, he didn't know your
mother was pregnant. Your mother and I knew
he would find out eventually, but we wanted
to keep you both as safe as possible, for as
long as possible. So I took you to live with
my brother Owen on Tatooine... and your mother
took Leia to live as the daughter of Senator
              Organa, on Alderaan.
