OutTV (stylized OUTtv) is a Canadian English language specialty channel and streaming network that was launched in September 2001. It broadcasts and streams general entertainment and lifestyle programming aimed at the LGBT community both in Canada and internationally.
Reason for the change: OUTtv broadcasts and streams; OUTtv is available both within Canada and internationally
Reason for the change: outtv.ca redirects to outtvglobal.com; Website (displayed in info box), and Official website source url (External links section) on this page should display correct url of outtvglobal.com
Reason for the change: Updates page by adding current logo with active dates. Further aesthetic suggestion: Reduce purple OUTtv logo size from 150px to 125px, update caption format, ad alt description (as shown here) Logo from 2012 to 2021. to better match sizing/format of other OUTtv logos on the page.
Hi Encoded, thanks again for all your help. Are you able to change the current logo caption to read: Logo from 2021 to present. Here is the company website showing the currently active network logo. https://outtvglobal.com/ (I just wanted to offer verification that it's still the 'present' logo) --Oshentree (talk) 23:30, 11 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi ARandomName123. It would certainly be great if the request was answered. I thought maybe it wasn't being done due to the lack of an impartial enough source. I was thinking I could update the source later without deleting the request, but maybe that was not the correct way to go about it. If you think the source I have here is ok though, I will update my request by removing the strikethrough and "Disregard."Oshentree (talk) 00:15, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Oshentree: If you have a better source (preferably one that isn't just an casting call) feel free to ping me and I'll implement the edit. If not, just remove edit COI from this section. On a side note, the most probable reason your request hadn't been answered is that there simply isn't enough editors to handle all the requests, so some may languish in the queue for quite a while without a response or even a look. Specific text to be edited: In mid-2006, OutTV ventured into its first international market when it reached a deal with SelecTV to distribute the network on its lineup in Australia through a package called "CurveTV".[citation needed] However, in early 2007, OutTV and the CurveTV package was discontinued due to a low number of subscriptions.[citation needed]
Here are two sources that may be helpful in meeting the citation needed requirement:

OUTtv (Canadian TV Channel)
Reasons for the change: 1. Following WP:TITLETM "Article titles follow standard English text formatting in the case of trademarks, unless the trademarked spelling is demonstrably the most common usage in sources independent of the owner of the trademark." OUTtv is the widespread use of style, independent of the trademark owner as proven by the article's citation references; 2. OUTtv is identified as OUTtv in the 2024 CRTC ownership chart at CRTC; 3. OUTtv style is in use on other WP pages: List_of_programs_broadcast_by_OUTtv; OUTtv - Wikidata. 4. Consistency within article, WP:CONSISTENT. OUTtv is currently being displayed inconsistently (OutTV and OUTtv) within this page.

Hi RandomName123. I really appreciate you doing this, thank you. But, I think in changing the title case you inadvertently removed the space between OUTtv and (Canadian TV channel), forcing a redirect. It was my understanding a case change would not have cause a redirect. Is it possible to undo and just update the case to avoid the redirect? WP:UNDOMOVE and WP:DISPLAYTITLE. Oshentree (talk) 00:30, 7 May 2024 (UTC)00:40, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Oshentree: Hi, yes, you are correct. I readded the space after the first move, so it should be fine now. The accidentally created redirect has also been tagged for speedy deletion. Please lmk if there are any other issues. Thanks, ARandomName123 (talk)Ping me!01:16, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

In recent years the channel has reduced its reliance on acquired library programming and increased its investment in new original content. Initial Canadian-based productions included Cam Boy, Fak Yaass, Group Sext and Call Me Mother. American co-produced shows included Jonny McGovern's talk show Hey Qween!, Ginger Minj's cooking show Wigs in a Blanket, and The Boulet Brothers' Dragula. The channel received some of its highest ratings for the Canadian airings of the RuPaul's Drag Race franchise. OUTtv also produced aftershow features for the show, with Richard Ryder in character as drag queen Wilma Fingerdoo.
Reason for the change: updates section information; consolidates historical programming; the next request "Part 2", moves current programming information to programming section and removes duplicates; the main goal here is to update historical and current programming information, please update to where you feel is most informative and best for the article; Checked/updated citations

OUTtv's programming consists of originally produced LGBTQ+ content and domestic and foreign acquisitions. Newer original content by OUTtv includes Canadian-based productions Sew Fierce, Dating Unlocked, Sugar Highs and Call Me Mother. Original American content produced in association with OUTtv includes For the Love of DILFS, X-Rated, Sherry Vine Variety Show, Dr. Jackie, and Willam Belli's courtroom show Iconic Justice. Expanding on its international complement, in 2024 OUTtv acquired global SVOD rights to the BBC competition series Glow Up: Britain’s Next Make Up Star, and is to co-finance the show’s sixth season.
Reason for the change: updates Programming section information, removes duplicates
Why do we need to update the section so that it only focuses on the most recent original productions while burying noteworthy older ones? There's no problem with adding the new stuff to the article, but why would we need to take older stuff away from it? Bearcat (talk) 17:39, 8 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Bearcat, the older programming was requested to be grouped together to remain in the article, (please see previous coi request "Part 1: Please update second last paragraph, Acquisition by Ronald N. Stern section"), with newer programming arranged together into the Programming section in this "Part 2" request – while avoiding duplication of information into both sections. But absolutely, if you are able to move all programming old and new to the Programming section - well that would be fabulous! I do hope that between the two edit requests "Part 1 and Part 2", that no information was removed. I agree, no information should be taken away from the article. If you are able to take the information and citations from both these unfulfilled coi requests, and move them all, along with other programming listed in the "Acquisition by Ronald N. Stern" section, to the Programming section of this article... well that would be outstanding. I could then remove the two coi edit tags from my requests. Thanks for your remarks Bearcat. -- Oshentree (talk) 19:54, 9 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
