Availbilty of Small Market Flavors

[edit]

Pineapple and Birch Beer can be found outside Newfoundland and Fort McMurray. I know some Sobey's Grocery store's in southern Alberta carry them (in limited amounts) in their Specialty Soda section (were they have the Cane Sugar and Olde type Root Beer). I live in Strathmore, Alberta and our Sobey's carries them, though no more than six can's per shipment and they cost about 70 cent more than a average can of soda. Availability of Diet Varieties

[edit]

Where are the diet varieties available? I can find Diet Orange and Diet Cream Soda but no Diet Grape. I live in Ottawa, what gives? 99.246.7.143 (talk) 11:02, 22 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Benzoic Acid Content

[edit]

I had read an article a few years ago that these types of drinks that used benzoic acid as a perservative had to be reformalated, as benzoic acid tended to breakdown to benzene, a carcinogen. 71.127.23.22 (talk) —Preceding undated comment was added at 18:56, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The body of the story says it was invented in 1916. The side bar says 1906. Which is it?
It's kind of both... Quoting from the Official website, "it was all the way back to 1916 when Clayton J. Howell partnered with Neil C. Ward to create the Orange Crush Company (you can look even farther back to find J.M. Thompson of Chicago as the original inventor of Orange Crush in 1906)." Jason Quinn (talk)

Crush Chocolate

[edit]

Is this, or was it ever, an actual product? I can't find any proof that such a item ever existed. 184.99.162.159 (talk) 15:35, 14 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

caffeine in Orange Crush?

[edit]

Anybody know references that discuss caffeine content at different times? Around 1980 I remember noticing caffeine in the Orange Crush ingredients and reading somewhere that it was the most highly caffeinated soda at the time, more than Mountain Dew. A few years later, after Jolt took that crown, it was caffeine-free again. Not R (talk) 01:08, 18 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Crush hasn't had caffeine in decades, so it's probably not worth mentioning unless one other person notices it. 66.91.159.82 (talk) 19:39, 22 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
