this article makes no sense... — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wyden (talkcontribs) 23:28, 31 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, it's a reflection of the state of scholarship in the humanities these days. Edgeweyes (talk) 19:12, 27 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestions on Overview Section

[edit]

Rearranging the second sentence to the end of the paragraph would make the paragraph make more sense and help with the flow of information. As it stands it is not clear how it relates to the paragraph. I would also suggest that the bullet points be either removed or expanded on in further sections. They could be used as specific sections. Mrperfectlyfine (talk) 18:53, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestions on Black female spectatorship Section

[edit]

Remove the Viola Davis paragraph because I could not find a reputable source that states the claim made, seems like an opinion. Mrperfectlyfine (talk) 19:43, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

So... what is it?

[edit]

The introductory paragraph describes it as a "looking relation". What does that even mean? It then catapults into a nonstop -ism list that is neither grammatical nor understandable.

The lack of clarity of this article leads me to believe the author doesn't even understand the concept clearly. This article should probably be scrapped or at least completely rewritten. 82.4.50.117 (talk) 16:25, 7 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
