Are you sure One in a Million was made favourite for the next season's 1000G after her Houghton win? I though Devon Ditty was favourite for the 1000G after her Cheveley Park win and remained favourite until One in a Million beat her in the Nell Gwynn Stakes, whereupon OiaM became favourite. - You are right. Timeform says that she was "one of the winter favourites". Tigerboy1966 08:00, 9 March 2015 (UTC)
Devon Ditty was favourite for the 1000G but when she met One in a Million in the Nell Gwynn One in a Million was favourite on account of her receiving the Group 1 weight allowance from Devon Ditty. But as she beat her by 5 lengths it seemed certain that One in a Million was superior even at levels.(Victor Middlesex (talk) 03:41, 10 March 2015 (UTC))
- the '78 crop of 2yo fillies had some real flyers: apart from Devon Ditty, there was Kilijaro, Sigy (horse) and Greenland Park. DD should get an article soon, although she will have to wait till after Cheltenham! Tigerboy1966 12:16, 10 March 2015 (UTC)
