Weights

[edit]

Why no weights? Empty or GVW would be nice; both would be better.

corrections

[edit]

the third generation stanza is listed as being from 1987 onwards, and in the UK from 1988 onwards.

In the UK, they were built at Sunderland from 1987 onwards (I own a 1987 example of a UK built car), and, earlier Japanese built bluebirds (=generation 3 Stanzas) were available in 1986 in the UK.

About Cefiro

[edit]

Nissan Cefiro (A31) should NOT be considered as a direct replacement of Auster (T12) because : 1. A31 is significantly larger than Auster. 2. A31 is rear wheel drive and T12 is front wheel drive. In late 80s, it is extremely unreasonable to change a mid size car from front wheel drive to rear wheel drive. 2. A31 should be the same grade as Nissan Skyline ane Nissan Laurel. All these cars have similar size and rear wheel driver. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Buhin (talkcontribs) 16:43, 30 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Agree completely and deleted mention of Cefiro as Stanza/Auster replacement. Unless there is some really compelling evidence to the contrary, there is no reason to call the Cefiro a successor to the T13.  ⊂| Mr.choppers |⊃  (talk) 06:04, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

not uncommon to see Bluebirds...on British roads

[edit]

The 'How Many Left' website shows that there are 203 Bluebirds of all types registered in 2023. Some of these will be SORN. We cannot in good faith assert that it is "not uncommon" to see Bluebirds as old as 1987 or 1988 vintage still on British roads. (There are 4,700 Nissan Qashqais registered, for comparison's sake.)
