Official Album Title?

[edit]

How do you know the title of the album is New! Improved! Blue Cheer
and not just New! Improved!?172.193.41.23 (talk) 07:06, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is a good question. As I was looking around for info on Outsideinside I came across some sources saying hte album was New! Improved and some adding Blue Cheer on the end. BeastmasterGeneral 17:00, 2 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well, Randy Holden's own biography page located heresays it's New ! Improved ! and MusicBrainz says it's New! Improved! The only place I've seen Blue Cheer added to the title was in an Amazon search, so I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Amazon is wrong. 66.21.133.31 (talk) 04:07, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Although this may fall under the trivia category, I think it is relevant to note that the title of the album ("New! Improved! Blue Cheer") cleverly derives from the fact that not only was the name of the band the same as a "brand name" of Owsley acid, the acid itself was named after Cheer laundry detergent, whose gimmick was blue granules. The omission of this information suggests that the author of this stub was not of the era and therefore could not have made the otherwise obvious connection. 69.138.208.104 (talk) 07:36, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Release date?

[edit]

March, April or July 1969? I have seen all three mentioned. Nurg (talk) 09:44, 1 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
