Real name accuracy issue
[edit]Hi,
Available online information about First name and Father's name seems conflicting. I have left message at Wikipedia talk:Noticeboard for India-related topics. Until some one fixes with researched authentic names, I am deleting present names mentioned due to lack of onhand verifiable information
Mahitgar (talk) 12:34, 11 September 2017 (UTC)
- Pretty sure that the Nana Patekar's real name is "Vishwanath Patekar", and his father's name is Dinkar Patekar.[1][2] "Nana" is just a Marathi nickname, not father's name used as a middle name. utcursch | talk 13:47, 12 September 2017 (UTC)
Father's name in this another Times of India article is different. Nana Patekar breaks his khamoshi. I suppose there may be some discripancy in in Mother's name too that also need to be confirmed well.
Problem on non-verification of details is with Times of India journalists too.

Sexual misconduct allegations
[edit]Tanushree Dutta accused Nana Patekar of sexual misconduct in 2018. Please add this section to this article Source Ram nareshji (talk) 04:48, 4 October 2018 (UTC)

Controversy
[edit]Not sure if this new section makes sense. Including content that can be construed as incriminating when in one case it hasn't been proven in a court of law and in another case hasn't even been filed as a case could make Wikipedia liable to legal issues. Removing for now. Please discuss this here before adding. Accesscrawl (talk) 15:50, 5 October 2018 (UTC)
- Accesscrawl, WP:WELLKNOWN states
In the case of public figures, there will be a multitude of reliable published sources, and BLPs should simply document what these sources say. If an allegation or incident is noteworthy, relevant, and well documented, it belongs in the article—even if it is negative and the subject dislikes all mention of it........If the subject has denied such allegations, that should also be reported.
Best, ∯WBGconverse 16:04, 5 October 2018 (UTC)- WBG, I think you're correct on this. Mea Culpa. Accesscrawl (talk) 04:27, 6 October 2018 (UTC)
