Original research and speculation
[edit]This article contains a lot of unsourced analysis and speculation concerning how this story might fit in with The Caves of Steel, a novel which had not yet been written when this story was published. I propose deleting all of this from the article, except the Asimov quote. Richard75 (talk) 20:16, 8 March 2013 (UTC)
- Well no one has objected, or improved the article, in well over a year, so I've deleted all that crap, as well as a very dubious claim that this is somehow a robot story -- tagged as unsourced since February 2013 -- just because somebody happens to mention robots at some point in the story. I find this article very enlightening. The story itself is awkward and confusing. Thanks for the effort. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.69.140.138 (talk) 17:30, 24 October 2019 (UTC)
Moving
[edit]Would you guys mind if I moved this article from Mother Earth (Novelette) to Mother Earth (Novella)? Wandavianempire (talk) 14:39, 20 November 2020 (UTC)
As it has been 3 weeks with no response, I will now move the article. Wandavianempire (talk) 18:38, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
- If it is under 17,500 words, it’s a novelette. --ExperiencedArticleFixer (talk) 01:38, 24 February 2021 (UTC)
