Song
[edit]I've removed the sentence about the producers not being able to afford Monday Monday as a theme song because one of the producers wrote a letter to the Telegraph or Broadcast (I can't remember which) stating that it was never their intention to use it because it was "too obvious", and that the Telegraph misquoted Fay Ripley. We ought to give this the benefit of the doubt, since a small quote from an actor in a newspaper diary column isn't really a reliable enough source. Bradley0110 (talk) 12:06, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
- Do you have a source that they wrote a letter to either Telegraph or Broadcast? D.M.N. (talk) 16:35, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
Surely whether a source is available or not to us now, we should be cautious and not include such a dubious statement. I find it difficult to believe the song could not be afforded, its not the most memorable song of a band, who while big in their day are hardly still on the edges of peoples tounges now, particularly as the programme demonstrated the budget was large enough for the likes of Faye Ripley and Jenny Agutter, rather then using unknowns. Location - NOT Leeds
[edit]I just want to say how lame this program is, there done it. It doesn't even look like it is filmed in Leeds. The few outside shots with cast present look like they are filmed in Watford with Barracuda cafe, Zinco pizzeria, and the big give away, The Columbia Press visable in the background. The only shots of Leeds are stock footage. Very poor. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.3.170.81 (talk) 20:59, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
