[edit]First time I've ever tried to contribute, but here goes - it seems to me that a lot of the language, especially towards the bottom of the page, is very biased in favour of the singer. Phrases such as "the giant that is" and the stressing on "ALL but ONE" as if it is to defend his honour or somesuch seem quite uneccesary for what is meant to be an encyclopedia, not a review. Anyway, that's just what I thought :)
Can someone please confirm his birthday? I have listed in an article written by Mahir Hassan that he was born in 1917, not 1907. Also, there is quite a bit of repetition between the introduction and the later sections. Please eliminated! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.7.227.205 (talk) 20:57, 8 May 2010 (UTC)
This article can benefit from additional authoritative sources, elimination of some repetitive phrases, and lauding remarks which do not, in my opinion, contribute to factual rigour (Miimno (talk) 04:59, 9 October 2010 (UTC))
Mohammad 3bd al-wahab vs. 3bd al-wahab mohammad????? Two authors?
[edit]I noticed several famous songs, with lyrics by an "3bd al-wahab mohammad" as opposed, if I may guess, to mohammad 3bd al-wahab?
notably: Zalamna al-7ob, 7ob ih, hasibak lizzaman... source: http://almashriq.hiof.no/egypt/700/780/umKoulthoum/Songs/
As there is no entry for the former, I would like someone to check and perhaps write a disambiguation article (even just a stub) if these are indeed two different authors??? here's the link on ar. wiki (but I don't speak ar well as of yet... ;-) http://ar.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D8%B9%D8%A8%D8%AF_%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%88%D9%87%D8%A7%D8%A8_%D9%85%D8%AD%D9%85%D8%AF — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jasiok (talk • contribs) 18:22, 8 June 2011 (UTC)Jasiok (talk) 18:37, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
