[edit]Tahir ur qadri status profile pic wrong Plz correct photo Syed qadeer ud deen (talk) 16:02, 7 October 2019 (UTC)
- Salam. What is your objection to the photo? It certainly shows M Tahir-ul-Qadri. Please explain. Thanks, George Custer's Sabre 01:59, 8 October 2019 (UTC)
Exactly that's what I wanna save.it is not right to use this plz change the picture Ashaliana (talk) 18:56, 4 July 2020 (UTC)
While there are thousands of official portrait pictures available this particular picture is used where he is in the middle of a sentence in order to denigrate his appearance. Please change the picture
I agree with the previous comment. The Image selected is taken in mid-sentence and looks inappropriate. Where there are many other good portrait images available on the internet, the current image has been selected to deprecate the persons portrait. George Custer's Sabre is correct in saying that the image shows Tahir-ul-Qadri but he is fully aware that the image is not suitable. If there is no problem, I would be happy to give a portrait image. Surely this is not a invalid or prudent request. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SeeratAK (talk • contribs) 13:26, 13 June 2021 (UTC)

In the heading "Lahore Clash 2014", when it is mentioned that the police claimed that they were attacked first, it is a complete lie. The TV channels showing this live have proved this. The police arrived at night time (exact time not known) and started attacking civilians living there. Arrested many and tortured them in jail. They were released in July 2020. They had to stay in jail for 6 years without any valid charges. No policemen were charged. 80.43.240.163 (talk) 08:41, 20 August 2020 (UTC)

His title Shykh al-Islam is not self proclaimed.
[edit]The title Shaykh al-Islam is not self proclaimed for Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri, many of the Islamic authorities of this era called him Shaykh al-Islam. It includes ash-Shaykh Usama al-Abd (Vice Chancellor Jamia Al-Azhar) addressing him with the title Shaykh al-Islam. Many more shuyukh and Ulama who are the authority of Islamic knowledge in this era addressed him with the title Shaykh al-Islam at different occasions. Please refer the following link too which is official: http://tehreek.org/dr-tahir-ul-qadri-suddenly-started-to-be-called-himself-as-shaykh-ul-islam-whereas-no-one-gave-him-this-title/

Add the title of Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri as Shaykh al-Islam. 1.The first person to award the title of “Shaykh ul Islam” to Dr Tahir ul Qadri was al-Mu`ammar Hadrat as-Sayyid Ghulâm Rasûl Shâh Khâkî of Chakwâl (Pîr Khâkî Shâh Sâhib) who had died at the age of 130 years! He awarded this title before 1994 when he passed away.
2. He then sent a flag to Shaykh Tahir-ul-Qadri with the following written on it: “Shaykh-ul-Islam Professor Doctor Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri”. Reference: https://tehreek.org/dr-tahir-ul-qadri-suddenly-started-to-be-called-himself-as-shaykh-ul-islam-whereas-no-one-gave-him-this-title/

His Eminence Shaykh-ul-Islam, Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has received a large number of authorities (asanid) and permissions (ijazat) for the transmission of knowledge of hadith, tafsir, fiqh, tasawwuf and other classical Islamic sciences from numerous great pillars of the Muslim world, widely acknowledged as the fountains of Islamic knowledge in the last century back to the classical scholars and great Imams of hadith of the past up to the Holy Prophet (blessings and peace be upon him). He has more than 300 Chains of Authority contained in two of his own thabats (reference books on his chains of authority):
al-Jawahir al-Bahira fi’l Asanid at-Tahira as-Subul al-Wahabiyya fi’l-Asanid adh-Dhahabiyya The following are some examples of his links to the renowned classical scholars via only one teacher:
He is linked to al-Imam Yusuf ibn Isma‘il an-Nabhani directly via only one teacher, his student ash-Shaykh Husayn ibn Ahmad al-‘Usayran (Lebanon). He is linked to al-Imam Imdad Allah al-Muhajir al-Makki via only one teacher, his vicegerent ash-Shaykh as-Sayyid ‘Abd al-Ma‘bud al-Jilani al-Madani (who died at the age of 165 years). Shaykh-ul-Islam is linked to Imam al-Hind ash-Shah Ahmad Rida Khan via only one teacher through three different routes: ash-Shaykh al-Mu‘ammar Diya’ud-Din Ahmad al-Qadiri al-Madani ash-Shaykh as-Sayyid Abu’l-Barakat Ahmad al-Qadiri Alwari ash-Shaykh al-Mu‘ammar as-Sayyid ‘Abd al-Ma‘bud al-Jilani al-Madani

His title of "Shaykh-ul-Islam" is missing. The title has been given by numerous scholars and personalities in Islam from various nations. This title is not self-proclaimed but given due to his works and impact on the revival of Islam. 2A02:6B62:219F:0:7C3E:6240:C2C6:D372 (talk) 16:55, 2 March 2024 (UTC)
- Not done: The source that has been repeatedly cited above to support this argument is from the website of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, which was founded by Tahir-ul-Qadri himself. As such, it is a non-independent/self-published source and cannot be used to support this claim per the first criteria of WP:ABOUTSELF. Please provide a different source.
