Both ko:Mnet KM Music Festival and ja:MKMF have fairly comprehensive data but translations of both, including references, will be needed to determine notability for purposes of the English Wikipedia. I requested a translation of ko:Mnet KM Music Festival to complete an English-language article back in 2008; to my knowledge, the translation request, including translation of Source data from ko:Mnet KM Music Festival, has not been processed. — B. There is a serious omission of the SM Entertainment boycott and Mnet's refusal to acknowledge SM artists in its awards. Given that SM have some of the biggest heavyweights in Korean entertainment (Girls' Generation, SHINee, Super Junior, f(x)), there is widespread acknowledgment that the awards are at the very least fatally flawed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Oniontx (talkcontribs) 11:47, 10 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The fact these are called 'asian music awards' and are essentially a vehicle for koreans to award prizes to koreans makes the awards flawed, in these terms they're basically just an advert. Whether SM turns up doesn't resolve this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.115.204.8 (talk) 17:51, 12 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

There is also a big controversy about the voting for MAMA 2017 , Mnet have deleted a million of votes of the popular group BTS ( Bangtan Boys ), now it's a big controversy and the BTS fans (ARMY) are really mad about this and demand an explanation , thus Mnet has still didn't give an exact explanation. A lot of issues are on the internet about this controversy and it's still in mystery. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Beyond the scene love (talkcontribs) 20:24, 5 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

There is a big controversy about MAMA 2017 , Mnet removed a lot of votes for many artist and It caused a big problem . One of the most popular group that Mnet removed votes was BTS , after that the BTS Fan ( ARMY ) were shocked about the numbers of vote who were removed. For exemple in the " Best Male group category", BTS lost 1 million of votes and in the "Best Music video" too , they approximatively lost 1.6 million of votes. It's now a huge controversy and BTS fan demand an explanation but Mnet still didn't give an exact explanation about this case.[1]
