Despite the title...

The Act doesn't define any class of thing as "medical cannabis" - there is simply safety from prosecution for cannabis-related crimes for those with one medical condition - "requires palliation". This is defined in the Act as: "advanced progressive life-limiting condition and is nearing the end of their life".

While there is provision for setting up regulations for quality standards etc. for medical cannabis products, this is all in the future. - Snori (talk) 07:21, 9 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
