[edit]I live in Odessa, and this is the first time I've heard this term...maybe this was put up by an Andrews booster? SWalkerTTU 03:03, 19 December 2005 (UTC)
- A Google search shows that the only use of this term is here on Wikipedia or sources that are copies of Wikipedia. Maybe better if it's moved to Midland-Odessa Combined Statistical Area or even just remove it? --Utopianheaven 13:52, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
The Midland-Odessa area is often also called The Petroplex, similiar to the way DFW is called the Metroplex. With the recent oil boom I have heard this term used more often. It may be worth including here. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.92.161.131 (talk • contribs) .
