Mark V

[edit]

I'm removing the line about the announcement of the Mark V. There is no official source, only speculation as to its actual existence besides the supposed poster at Rudy's Music, NYC. There has been a unanimous 'no comment' from Mesa employees on the matter too. Any such statements are premature and pure conjecture. Let's refrain from having a repeat of the Mark V threads on the Petrucci forums here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.2.158.249 (talk) 01:12, 3 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sacks

[edit]

Who is Sacks? This person is mentioned a few times on this page without any explanation of who they are.

Mark III

[edit]

Typo on Mark III paragraph, Mark III was arguably the longest production run of any Mesa amp, discontinued in 1998 or 1999, NOT 1989. Date is handwritten on the chassis on many amps, also reference this serial number overview: http://homepage.mac.com/mesaboogie/serials.html Also no mention of the stripe 'History' or differences in this long running model—Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.7.103.81 (talk) 13:40, 18 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Mesa Boogie Mark Series

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Mesa Boogie Mark Series's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "Gallagher":

  • From Guitar amplifier: Gallagher, Mitch (2012). Guitar Tone: Pursuing the Ultimate Guitar Sound. Cengage Learning. pp. 85–86. ISBN 9781435456211.
  • From Boutique amplifier: Gallagher, Mitch (2012). Guitar Tone: Pursuing the Ultimate Guitar Sound. Cengage. p. 251. ISBN 9781435456211.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 15:01, 20 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
