Mergers
[edit]Sarda page and also Kali river page should be merged with the Mahakali River page sine the source river in Nepal is Mahakali--Nvvchar (talk) 02:37, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
- I assume that means Kali River (Uttarakhand) - there seems some confusion over the various Kali rivers. I'm not confident enough about it to do it myself, but I'll tag appropriately.FlagSteward (talk) 10:45, 20 April 2012 (UTC)

It is proper to merge Mahakali and Sarda pages since it is one and the same river. It is called Mahl kali in Nepal and Sarda in India. It is a border river between India and Nepal. A Treaty has been signed between India and Nepal titled. I ill add suitable text in the main article on the contenets of the Mahakali treaty and the existing and propsoed development projects on th river in Nepal and India |

Factual comment
[edit]Its original name is Maha Kali River, named after the Mahakali Temple and it's treaty also mentions as Maha Kali Treaty. So, it is better to merge with a name Maha Kali River. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rabins Sharma Lamichhane (talk • contribs) 04:21, 30 January 2017 (UTC)
