Taylor wording

[edit]

@Favre1fan93: I think we should still be saying "Rachael Taylor as the voice of Trish Walker". As I said, "Rachael Taylor as Trish Walker (voice only)" feels inappropriate here, with "voice only" something we might add to a notes column in a filmography table rather than something we say in a proper cast list (this is the same as a cast list that we would have in a TV series page or a film page, just without all the extra info since we already have that at the LoC page). The current format, "Rachael Taylor voices Trish Walker", is inconsistent with all the other list items we are giving with it, and implies to me that Trish Walker is a character that only requires a voice, like a CGI character or something. By saying "as the voice of" we are being consistent with everything else and not making it look like a physical appearance by Taylor as Walker is ruled out. I know it is a slight difference, but it is noticeable to me. - adamstom97 (talk) 23:13, 5 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

"As the voice of" equates to "voices" for me. I don't see it as much of an issue, using "voices", since this is a quick glance in my eyes, and we go more indepth with it in the casting section. I agree not to use the first option I tried, but as I said, I think "as the voice of" and "voices" are interchangeable, and "voices" is cleaner in my opinion. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 01:18, 6 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I won't argue with you, because they are basically the same thing. I just personally feel there is a slight difference between them. - adamstom97 (talk) 02:21, 6 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Same. If anyone else wants to chime in, that would be good, to see what they feel. Because this is the first time we've had a voice only role for one of these columns on an MCU TV article, yes? - Favre1fan93 (talk) 16:33, 6 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
