Cleanup
[edit]I started an attempt to clean this list up; lots of advertising so I tried to remove the double and triple links and remove all dead links. Hope it is a good start! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nicolasqueen (talk • contribs) 16:47, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
Template
[edit]Just seen a template stating that this needs catagorization, and sources will be needed as well. Martial Law 03:47, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
Coast to Coast AM and Globalize tag
[edit]First off, I deleted the excessive Coast to Coast AM reference in the header (it can create the false impression these programs are all available on Coast to Coast AM, where it is itself only a single talk show), and I added the globalize tag as despite the appearance of British English ("programmes") the article only deals with radio programs within the United States. --Edwin Herdman 12:47, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
Name change
[edit]This article needs a name change. The current name describes the radio shows themselves as paranormal, whereas they are really just radio shows that focus on paranormal content. I suggest a name change like "List of radio shows with a focus on the paranormal" or something like that.
Taking out the trash red links
[edit]- News for the Soul, hosted by Nicole Whitney
- Psychic Radio, powered by CBS Radio.
- Spooky Juice, on KSUA.
- Spooky Southcoast, hosted by Tim Weisberg, Matt Costa and Matt Moniz.
- World of the Unexplained, hosted by J. Scott and Trent Lackey.
These have either no article of their own, no articles on their hosts or no mention in their radio station's article.--Sloane (talk) 20:25, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
Unreferenced
[edit]Can someone please explain why a completely unreferenced article like this should not have an {{unreferenced}} tag on it? Nerfari (talk) 23:35, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
- I don't see what there is to reference. It's just a list of shows with a small introduction. --Sloane (talk) 23:54, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
- See WP:LIST "Any material lacking a reliable source may be removed, but editors may object if you remove material without giving them sufficient time to provide references. If you want to request a source for an unsourced statement, consider tagging a sentence by adding the {{fact}} template, a section with {{unreferencedsection}}, or the article with {{refimprove}} or {{unreferenced}}. Alternatively, you may leave a note on the talk page requesting a source, or you may move the material to the talk page." Nerfari (talk) 00:01, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
- Look at these examples here: Wikipedia:Lists_(stand-alone_lists)#.22List_of.22_articles. You don't need references on lists for blatantly obvious things. Especially when already referenced on other Wikipedia pages.--Sloane (talk) 00:15, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
