I do really like this text, yet i should be happy if there were a picture or something on Kroq'gar. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.224.213.109 (talk) 15:41, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Anbody Missing?

[edit]

I would like to know why there are many very important character left out of this page. The first that came to mind was Magnus the Pious, a rather really important figure in Warhammer Fantasy. But I am sure other MAJOR character could figure in this page.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.50.244.164 (talkcontribs) 13:33, 21 January 2007 (UTC).[reply]

It looks to me like this is pretty long list and I'm not sure that it is missing any major chracters. I've removed wikilinks to Imrik. Orion & Ariel becuase they don't have articles. I'm a little concerned about the nature of this page - I'm not fully sure what the policy is on lists so I'll need to check it up before doing much more here.--Cailil talk 11:23, 14 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

New Page

[edit]

I'm planning to start a page on Harry the Hammer. Unfortunitly, the only information i have is from White Dwarf April 2008. If anyone has any more information, please contact me on my profile.Tag leader (talk) 22:41, 15 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Most of the links go to nonexistant pages, and some just go to disambiguation pages (Nakai links to one that doesn't link to a page about Nakai the Kroxigor). Groundlord (talk) 04:59, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There is no need to have three separate pages listing this one media franchise's fictional characters. List of Warhammer Fantasy deities and List of creatures in Warhammer Fantasy should be merged here. Neelix (talk) 21:24, 4 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

The vast majority of characters, races, and groups in this franchise are not sufficiently independently notable to justify their own articles. As such, the following articles should be merged into this list: The Empire (Warhammer), Dogs of War (Warhammer), Wood Elves (Warhammer), Tomb Kings, Knightly orders (Warhammer), High Elves (Warhammer), Dark Elves (Warhammer), Chaos Dwarfs, Armies of Warhammer, Reiksguard, Races and nations of Warhammer Fantasy, Greatswords, Dwarf (Warhammer), Chaos (Warhammer), Zoat, Vampire Counts, Undead (Warhammer), Troll (Warhammer), Snotling, Skaven, Savage Orc, Orc (Warhammer), Ogre (Warhammer), Night Goblin, Lizardmen (Warhammer), Hobgoblin (Warhammer), Goblin (Warhammer), Fimir, Daemon (Warhammer), Beastmen (Warhammer), Chaos Daemons, Black Orc, Gods of the Old World, Kaela Mensha Khaine, Liadriel, Ulric (Warhammer), Taal and Rhya, Manann, Morr, Sigmar, Grey Seer, Gotrek and Felix, Eltharion, Archaon, Lord of the End Times, Nagash (Warhammer), Morathi, Malekith, Louen Leoncoeur, Felix Jaeger, Grimgor Ironhide, Von Carstein, Tyrion, Thanquol, and Teclis. Neelix (talk) 18:18, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You seriously want to merge every article on Warhammer into this page?! While some I can understand, others are for entire armies and concepts and are completely unsuitable. 98.203.213.43 (talk) 04:18, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Meanwhile every D&D monster in existence gets its own Wikipedia page. Typical. 76.26.90.198 (talk) 01:49, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I really think this could be unwise, far to much data to put in just one page. Could it be put in sub sections under warhammer? -warhammer fan—Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.26.247.155 (talkcontribs)
I am not suggesting that all Warhammer articles be merged here, only the articles I have listed above. Which articles do you find unsuitable for merging? Certainly the article will be divided into sections so that there will not be too much data in a big clump without organization. Neelix (talk) 21:21, 30 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It's cluttered because it's reams of in-universe content, which is not appropriate for WP as a generalist encyclopedia. The vast majority of it should be cut down or discarded to stay encyclopedic. czar 20:45, 9 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

'Confirmation' of Valten's Death

[edit]

This page say Valten's death by Skaven was confirmed by the book 'The Loathsome Ratmen and All Their Vile Kin,' but that CAN NOT be the case. The Storm of Chaos took place in the present era of the Warhammer world. The above book is written as a tome that was written in 2313 IC, and since Storm of Chaos began some time shortly before Felix and Gotrek returned from their travels in the west (See Orcslayer and Manslayer), the fact that the first volumes of 'My Travels with Gotrek' were published in 2505 (by Felix's brother Otto while he was away. See notes in Trollslayer-Giantslayer),as well as the fact that Felix read this tome before this date, mean that the book could not possibly contain a reference to the Storm of Chaos. If the confirmation is based on information in the book, the statement needs to be clarified to indicate this. Otherwise, the reference should be completely removed from the page. Legionaireb (talk) 14:21, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your reasoning makes it sounds like speculation on your part rather than fact. The only reason for removing the comment is if someone reads the book in question and identifies the content as not present. Wikipedia can only deal in citable information, not original research or canoninity. AlexanderJBateman (talk) 16:20, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I have the book in question and Legionaireb is right. Flamarande (talk) 08:53, 8 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That solves the issue then. AlexanderJBateman (talk) 09:02, 8 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
