I'd like to make a couple of changes to bring the format in line with WP:Featured list candidates/List of commelinid families/archive1, but only if you folks who reviewed this list are on board with the proposed changes. @AryKun, CaptainEek, and Casliber: I'd like to get rid of the top line of each double row (the one that starts off "Latin plant name", etc.) and use the format at List of commelinid families instead, because those double rows act in very strange ways at smaller screen sizes. I'd also like to remove the text on flowers (but leave the flower images up). My sources disagree somewhat, and even when they agree, they're not all that helpful. It's like announcing "be on the lookout for a white or black male, between 5'6" and 6'2" tall, with brown or no hair" ... not very helpful. I'm hoping in the future to do a more detailed list of subfamilies or tribes ... I think that will be a better way to cover the flowers. But I'm open to any suggestions you might have. - Dank (push to talk) 16:42, 17 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Btw, I do check all the databases listed under the "General information" tab for each family on POWO, not just the one cited. The uncited databases are useful for checking my assumptions, but I don't take information from them directly. - Dank (push to talk) 04:54, 21 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
