Rename to "List of Registered Historic Places in Massachusetts"

[edit]
  1. Support-I'm not sure why this was named exclusively for Barnstable, but many other counties are included, and a state-wide name is the standard according to List of National Register of Historic Places entries. I would rename it myself, but I cannot due to the target page already existing (as a redirect). —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ian Burnet (talkcontribs) 02:00, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Oppose-There are lots of landmarks in the state and the resulting page of your suggestion would be huge. Kevin Rutherford (talk) 22:26, 17 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hyannis Armory

[edit]

I removed the Hyannis Armory from the table. According to the NRIS database, it's status is pending and the Massachusetts Historical Commission database (MACRIS) does not indicate that it's listed on the NRHP. I'm copying the information here for reference.

  1. ^ Numbers represent an alphabetical ordering by significant words. Various colorings, defined here, differentiate National Historic Landmarks and historic districts from other NRHP buildings, structures, sites or objects.
  2. ^ The eight-digit number below each date is the number assigned to each location in the National Register Information System database, which can be viewed by clicking the number.
