I think for better results the SM election process of the head of the Church must be modelled on the Papal election proceedures which contribute to a considered well thought out use of one's vote. Prof. G M Kunjethy (talk) 15:35, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@2402:8100:3905:2b4a:a094:ba57:a713:d680: This article is about the major archbishops and none of these other positions. None of these sections contain references to these figures being major archbishops of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church, largely because few of them existed in a time when there was a Syro-Malabar Catholic Church. Other lists can be made for those positions. You're past WP:3RR. Consult here and get consensus because at present two editors disagree. ~ Pbritti (talk) 04:09, 23 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Seeing no other support for including names other than the major archbishops, I'll be reverting the page to only be a list of their names. Let me know if this is opposed. ~ Pbritti (talk) 18:43, 23 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Asukite, Mako001, Czello, and Lettherebedarklight: Hello there! It seems most, if not all of this page was duplicated, so the page essentially contained the same text twice - there might be small differences between the upper version and the lower version though. It seems that the IP you have been reverting was trying to fix this mistake. I just wanted to let you all know, because there seems to be a big misunderstanding. Additionally, someone should probably look at the two versions of this page (that at the top and that at the bottom of the duplicated original) and reconcile any differences and content lost by deleting one version. Thanks, I didn't realize. It was the edit summary that made me question the edits, I should have looked closer. I messaged the IP editor as well. ASUKITE14:30, 23 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Asukite, Toadspike, and Czello: et. al.: a discussion regarding the initial disruptive nature of this IP editor is open here. Comment, input, and consensus there and in the discussion above this one are greatly appreciated. ~ Pbritti (talk) 15:24, 23 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Election of SM Major Archbishop. I have the impression that the election of the head of the Church is not conducted with sufficient seriousness or circumspection. It would be fine to follow the different steps and processes of the Papal Elections to assure a more considered and suitable outcome.
