Significant absence from the music list

[edit]

There is some music by Brian Eno, extensively used, often repeated, yet no mention of Brian Eno exists here, let alone a name for the music. It's also extensively used in the movie 'Heat', (Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino) which is where I recognised it from when I heard it in Life On Mars. There are several Eno peices in Heat, so I couldn't be sure which it is, but at a guess it seems likely to be 'Always Forever Now', which would make a lot of sense considering the state of things Sam Tyler finds himself in. :) I hope someone reads this and knows enough to confirm or deny, and add something to the main music text in the article if they know what it is. (Incidentally the Eno/Bowie connection was strong, which at least seems to confirm that it IS Eno's music in Life On Mars... The makers of the show would likely have made a point with this, intended to be recognised by those who do know!) 81.187.19.110 (talk) 22:42, 27 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Different versions

[edit]

The article should mention the fact that there are two different cuts of the show, a UK version and an international version, both made by the BBC. The international version runs c. 6 minutes shorter per episode and has a lot of local historical UK references and humor edited out. --2003:DA:CF2C:5082:ED48:A8B:DB47:C103 (talk) 09:41, 5 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
